Zedd & Elley's 'Happy Now' Video
Zedd and Elley Duhé's twist-filled 'Happy Now' video is a brutal tale of revenge.

Elley Duhé’s hot streak continues. The 26-year-old, who enjoyed a commercial breakthrough as the voice of Zedd’s “Happy Now,” returns to the New Music Friday lineup with a new track called “Savior.” And no, it’s not about looking for a higher power or knight in shining armor to step in and fix things. The singer/songwriter will do that herself. “Head, feet down, drowning in the water, I’m gonna be there to save ya,” she sings on the instantly catchy chorus. “This is what they meant by saviors.”

Elley kindly elaborates on that philosophy in the press release. “Savior means rule 1: Family first. Pure love = Family,” she explains. “Always protect and cherish the family that loves you unconditionally.” Amen to that. “Savior” has been added to the breakout star’s debut EP, Dragon Mentality, as a bonus track and it fits seamlessly alongside underrated gems like “Lost My Mind” (my favorite), “Fever” and “Way Down Low.” Check out the refreshingly substantial bop below.
