Jennifer Lopez Stuns On Sia-Penned Power Ballad, “Limitless”
Jennifer Lopez debuted “Limitless” at the American Music Awards on October 9, stealing the show with flawless vocals and sheer emotion. The power ballad, which was penned by Sia, finally arrives today (November 16) and the studio version is equally powerful and uplifting. “I couldn’t fight anymore and I wouldn’t lie anymore,” J.Lo begins the song, which features prominently in her upcoming comedy Second Act. “And all of the truths that I couldn’t ignore, I wouldn’t fight in this war.”
“Limitless” really takes flight on the chorus, which showcases the ultimate triple threat’s underrated vocals. “I told myself I had to be a different someone in order to win at a war I had already won,” she belts. “Yeah, I’d given up on the saying ‘I’ll never give up,’ but look at me now — I’m limitless.” Second Act hits theaters on December 21 and is shaping up to be the feel-good blockbuster of the season. It’s giving me serious Maid In Manhattan vibes, which is obviously a very good thing.
“Limitless” is Jennifer’s second great single in as many weeks. It follows “Te Guste,” a bone-rattling collaboration with Bad Bunny, which is the latest cut from her 9th LP. Listen to the superstar’s soaring ballad below.
