UPDATE: Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson joined the lineup of performers for the latest batch of SNL dates. They also uploaded a second teaser of “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart.” Check it all out below

Thank the pop gods! Miley Cyrus is gearing up to save us with her new single, “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart.” Last week it was revealed we would be hearing the 26-year-old’s collaboration with Mark Ronson when they perform on The Graham Norton Show December 7. But it turns out the song is dropping even sooner than expected. Today (November 26), the Bangerz diva hopped online to confirm a November 29 release date. Mark teased the news over the weekend with a cryptic post of his own. “the heartbreak era is coming….sooner than u think,” he wrote.

The pair also graciously uploaded a short preview of the track. Featuring some sweeping strings and a disco ball shaped like a shattered heart, it seems like a dramatic anthem is on the way. We don’t know much about the pair’s collaboration just yet. However, back in June the “Uptown Funk” super-producer referred to it as “one of my favorite songs.” It is unclear if this will be a one-off release or if it signifies the birth of a new era for Miley. It’s been just over a year since the unveiling of Younger Now, but her presence has been sorely missed.

Interestingly enough, she had begun working on new material before dropping her last album. “I’m already working on the next one,” the “Malibu” hitmaker said in an interview last year. “I’m already two songs deep on the next one.” Get a first taste of “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” below!
