Clean Bandit’s sophomore LP What Is Love? is shaping up to be one of the biggest albums of 2018. The trio hasn’t even released it yet, but it already netted three chart-topping singles in the UK including the Demi Lovato-assisted “Solo.” Earlier this month they teamed up with Marina (formerly Marina And The Diamonds) and Luis Fonsi for their current single, “Baby” – another hit. The track has been streamed more than 14 million times on Spotify and went Top 40 in the UK. And they aren’t done yet. Today (November 28), they link up with Charli XCX and Bhad Bhabie on their new buzz track, “Playboy Style.” At this point, it should hardly surprise you to learn that it is another bop.

Admittedly, the lineup is a little unexpected. However, everyone comes together surprisingly well. Trading vocal responsibilities over a trap-inspired beat, Charli and Bhad Bhabie put their fuck-boy exes on blast. “Fell in love with a bad, bad dude. Playboy style, should’ve seen right through,” the “1999” superstar realizes on the sing-along chorus. “All my friends, they could see the truth. You never loved me, you never loved me. Yeah, yeah.” The 15-year-old rap legend responsible for hits including “These Heaux” is not to be outdone. The collaboration is probably her biggest pop crossover moment to date, and she definitely proves that she has the personality to hold up to the likes of her studio-mates with her delightfully bratty verse.

As it stands, it seems like “Playboy Style” is just a buzz track. However, I’d love to see everyone come together for a video at some point in the near future. In the meantime, it will definitely keep fans on the line until the album arrives later this week. Press play on Clean Bandit’s latest below!
