The Aussie pop star strips it back on new single, 'Between You & Me.'

After dropping a pair of critically acclaimed albums for RCA, Betty Who decided to release her third LP independently. Betty arrives on February 15, 2019 and is shaping up to be something of a throwback to the bare-bones, super-powered pop of 2013’s The Movement EP. At least if the lead single is any indication. Produced by longtime collaborator Peter Thomas, “Between You & Me” is a stripped-back, instantly-addictive ditty about the voice in your head that runs riot when you’re around someone you really like.

The video arrived this morning (November 28) and it finds Betty falling in love with herself. Literally. (She plays her own love interest). “The video was a trip to film because, while playing against myself, I basically have to film the video twice,” the Aussie pop star reveals. “I never know how it’s going to turn out because as we’re filming it seems so high-concept but when I saw the final product I was so shocked. I can’t believe how bad I wanted me to end up with myself!” Watch the action unfold up top.
