Lauren Jauregui caps off a breakthrough year with a sexy spread in Galore magazine. The 22-year-old serves vintage femme fatale in the shadowy shoot, looking every inch the film noir starlet. She also opens up about auditioning for X Factor in the accompanying interview. “[It was] stressful as fuck,” the Fifth Harmony diva reveals. “I’m thankful, but I would never do it again. It was very nerve-wracking, strenuous, barely any rest — it was a lot.” Other topics of conversation included her all-girl private school education.
“I think every single experience makes you who you are,” Lauren muses. “I gained this crazy insecurity because there are so many girls trying to navigate that social world, which is intense.” There was a plus side, however. “At the same time, I was raised with a very feminist education,” she says. “I never felt like just because I was a girl I couldn’t do something.
