Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson’s promo tour for “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” now includes a set in BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. Over the weekend the duo stopped by Saturday Night Live for a rousing performance of their collaborative anthem. Delivering side boob and exceptional vocals, it was a massive success that sent the single to the number 2 position on US iTunes. Their latest set may be enough to push it to the top spot. Presumably while they were in the UK earlier this month, they recorded a pair of performances for Live Lounge. It should surprise no one to learn that they were predictably sublime. Grounded by a live string section and with Ronson on guitar, the “Drive” diva worked her way through another strong rendition.

Per tradition, they also tackled a cover. Miley showed some love to her friend Ariana Grande by putting a spin on “No Tears Left To Cry.” For it, she and Mark stripped back some of the euphoric production. Doing so emphasized the 26-year-old’s raspy voice, which perfectly complemented the lyrics. And they already received a seal of approval from Ari. Taking to Twitter, the Sweetener hitmaker shared praise with a gushing message. “i love that voice and soul sm,” she wrote. Last week the pair exchanged even more love around the release of “imagine” and “Happy Xmas (War Is Over).” Listen to Miley’s take on “No Tears Left To Cry” up top and watch the latest performance of “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” below!
