Loren Gray Interview
The social media sensation opens up about her debut single & future plans.

Loren Gray leverage her huge social media following (she has more than 50 million followers across multiple platforms) to land a record deal with Virgin Records. The 16-year-old made a good first impression with the perky “My Story” and then showed serious pop star potential on the fiery “Kick You Out.” That upward trajectory continues today (December 21) with the arrival of “Queen.” Produced by Captain Cuts, the teenager’s latest single is about knowing your worth and demanding respect.

“Cross my heart and hope to die, I don’t need another guy,” Loren begins the song. “To fight my battles, to overshadow me.” After setting the tone for what’s to come, the budding superstar pulls the trigger on the fierce chorus. “I’ma show you how to treat me like a queen,” she commands. “Boy, you better bow down on your knees. Can I get a ‘Yes, your majesty?'” This is a slightly edgier sound for Loren and it really suits her. At this rate, her debut EP is shaping up to be something of a surprise packet. Listen below.
