Nina Nesbitt Announces New LP
The Scottish singer unveils the cover of 'The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change.'

On the strength of sublime singles “Somebody Special and “Loyal To Me,” Nina Nesbitt’s sophomore LP is shaping up to be an essential listening experience. That trend continued in late 2018 with the arrival of “Colder” — a pop song about the toll of emotional scars. “It was written after watching young kids in love and how fearlessly they fall for each other because they’ve most likely not had their heart broken before,” she explained at the time. “It’s a song about the aftermath of that and explaining to someone why you find it hard to open up.”

The Debbie Scanlan-directed video arrives today (January 8) and it’s a cinematic affair that was filmed at Bing Crosby’s former home in Palm Springs, California. No doubt, “Colder” will be on the setlist when Nina’s North American tour kicks off in Dallas, Texas on February 23. (See all the dates and arrange tickets here). While you wait for the pop phenomenon to roll into your hometown, watch “Colder” up top and don’t forget to pre-order The Sun Will Come Up, the Seasons Will Change.

I overheard a convo between a group of girls on the bus yesterday and it reminded me why high school was such a bad place at times. I feel like when you’re younger and tryna fit in you can lose sight of who you are and say/do things to try and be cool. if your group of friends are being mean, you don’t have to join in just because everyone else is. we all love a gossip from time to time but I think it’s important to try not be a dick and be the one that reaches out to the person that’s being picked on. sometimes you don’t realise how damaging your actions can be on someone until you’re older and it’s too late. not tryna preach but overhearing them just reminded me how important it is to be nice 🌺
