Lauren Jauregui has the potential to notch a serious breakout hit with her current single “More Than That.” The slinky anthem has amassed more than 4.5 million streams on Spotify since dropping. And the luxurious, goddess-inspired video isn’t far behind. All it needs to really take off is a bit of promo. Thankfully, the Fifth Harmony alum is starting to pull through on that front. Last night, she stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden for the single’s first televised performance. Dressed in a flowing blue dress, the 22-year-old took the stage in front of a gorgeous floral arrangement. Showing off her velvety vocals, she executed some simple choreography while a pair of dancers pulled off some acrobatic feats behind her.

Hopefully Lauren has a couple more performances in the works moving forward. It would be great to see her stop by a couple more late-night shows to really emphasize how big the track could be. As it stands, this appearance may provide “More Than That” enough of a boost to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 in the coming weeks. After her debut single “Expectations” failed to take off, this one truly deserves a chance to shine. Things are looking pretty good for the hitmaker as she moves further into 2019. She’s putting in the work on her debut album, and it would be great for her to move into that release schedule with a bona fide smash under her belt. In the meantime, check out the performance here!
