Maggie Rogers is kicking off 2019 on a very high note. The 24-year-old established herself as One To Watch with Now That The Light Is Fading in 2017 and has not let us down since. After rolling out a slew of high-quality singles, she dropped her debut LP Heard It In A Past Life last Friday. The album has been met with warm reviews and it is still sitting comfortably within the Top 10 on US iTunes’ Top Albums chart. And it should stay there for a while thanks to the hitmaker’s latest promotional appearance. Last night (January 22), she stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. While there, she treated the audience to an invigorating performance of “Burning.”

Taking the stage in a vibrant yellow suit, she belted out the track with piano accompaniment from Jon Batiste. Dancing in front of sunny projections, the rendition highlights Maggie’s larger-than-life stage presence. It also promises big things for her set at Coachella this April. The “Light On” star is one of our most-anticipated performers at the festival. She’ll be in good company there, as she’ll be joined by the likes of Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK, Billie Eilish, Childish Gambino and more. In the meantime, get a taste of what she is capable of by checking out last night’s performance below!
