Ashley Tisdale’s Hot Streak Continues With “Love Me & Let Me Go”

Ashley Tisdale is taking no prisoners in 2019. Things are getting serious for the 33-year-old as she prepares to unleash Symptoms – her first album since 2009’s Guilty Pleasure. Last year, she ushered in the new era with “Voices In My Head.” The breezy anthem pulled respectable numbers on streaming platforms and offered a taste of what to expect from her this time around. Today (January 25), she continues her hot streak with the LP’s second single, “Love Me & Let Me Go.” Another collaboration with producer John Feldman, her latest sounds like it may provide a breakthrough moment on the charts. Boasting an electro-kissed production and an empowering message, it is a serious bop.

It also features one of my favorite choruses in recent memory. On it, she demands space from a former lover in the best way possible. “Love me and let me go,” she commands. “Walk away, finally let me breathe. Stop being so obsessed with me.” Everything builds up to a chic breakdown, which would fill dance floors across the globe. My wig is levitating – just like the pink-haired icon on her glorious single cover. Sleek and sassy, this is bound to make fans even more excited to hear the album in full. Although we’re still waiting on an official release date, it is one of our most anticipated projects of 2019. The only thing that would make it better is word on the Vanessa Hudgens duet I’m trying to dream into existence. There’s nothing there yet, but I won’t be giving up faith anytime soon.
