Lizzo Announces 'Cuz I Love You'
Lizzo reveals the title and release date of major-label debut LP, 'Cuz I Love You.'

Every now and again, an artist delivers a television performance so good that it catapults them to a whole new level. (Think Future Islands on Letterman). That’s exactly what Lizzo achieved on today’s (January 29) episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The 30-year-old belted out “Juice” without missing a note, but there was so much more to this than a stellar vocal performance. She gave us a whole, damn show complete with choreography, body positivity, audience interaction, a little twerking and even a flute solo.

The quality of the performance won’t be a surprise to anyone who has seen Lizzo strut her stuff live, but the uninitiated won’t know what hit them. It has been a huge week for the Minneapolis-based singer. She also revealed the release date of her major-label debut LP, Cuz I Love You, and announced a run of headline tour dates. It’s fair to say that the “Boys” hitmaker won’t be R&B/pop’s best-kept secret for much longer. Watch her in action on The Ellen DeGeneres Show up top.
