2019 is already shaping up to be a big year for new music. In the next few months we’re expecting blockbuster releases from the likes of Madonna, Ariana Grande, Avril Lavigne and Rihanna. That’s just a taste of what is on the way. You can catch up by checking out a list of our most anticipated albums for the year here. But today (February 6) another pop icon entered the fray. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Pink revealed that she is kicking off a new era within the next few weeks. Luckily, Ellen got her to open up with a couple of details about the release.

“I have a new song ‘Walk Me Home,’ and I have a new album Hurts To Be Human,” the 39-year-old explained. She added that the single is expected to drop within the next two weeks, and a video is already in the works. “I’m shooting a video in a week I think, with Michael Gracey, the director from Greatest Showman. I’m really excited about that.” Meanwhile, the LP – Pink’s eighth – is expected to drop in April. That is not all though. The Grammy nominated diva also provided an a cappella teaser of the song ahead of its release date.

“Walk me home in the dead of night. I can’t be alone with all this on my mind. Say you’ll stay with me tonight, cause there is so much wrong going on outside,” she belted out. It seems safe to assume that the single will be another anthem with a timely message. Watch Pink make the announcement below!
