Sasha Sloan Makes An Impressive TV Debut On ‘Colbert’
Late-night TV debuts don’t get much better than Sasha Sloan’s star-making appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The breakout star performed “Older,” a highlight from her uniformly excellent Loser EP, on a dark stage illuminated by home movies. It was the perfect setting for a tear-jerking ballad that documents the singer/songwriter’s difficult childhood and strained relationship with her parents. 2019 is shaping up to be a huge year for the 23-year-old. After establishing a reputation as one of the industry’s best songwriters (her resume includes hits for Camila Cabello, Charli XCX and ALMA), Sasha decided to focus on her own music and immediately made waves with songs like “Runaway” and “Normal.” The buzz continued to grow with the release of two perfect EPs and she is now poised for a major commercial breakthrough with the release of her debut LP.
