Nicki Minaj hopped on social media to defend her honor after the Grammys last night. The rapper did not take kindly to a since-deleted post from BET following Cardi B’s historic Best Rap Album win. “Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront,” they wrote alongside a link to a story about the Invasion Of Privacy hitmaker’s latest accomplishment. This morning, she fired up Twitter to reply in kind. And her messages carry a good deal of power. “Young Money will no longer be apart of the BET Experience or award show,” she wrote. Previously, the “Hard White” icon was booked to co-headline the 2019 BET Experience with Cardi. Many fans thought it may be a sign that they had buried their previous beefs and were kicking off the new year with a message of solidarity.

After making that statement, she proceeded to tweet a slew of photos of Barbz dragging BET in their mentions. Per TMZ, the network has since issued an apology, but it remains to be seen if that will be enough to rectify the situation. Regardless, that was just a warmup. After a user pointed out that she deserved a Grammy by now, Nicki turned her attention to the Academy. “I pissed off the same man Ariana just called out for lying. Grammy producer KEN,” she tweeted in reference to Ariana Grande’s beef with producer Ken Ehrlich. “I was bullied into staying quiet for 7 years out of fear. But I’ll tell my fans the REAL on the next episode of #QueenRadio they deserve the truth.” We’ll definitely be tuning in to see what she has to say about that. Fortunately, it seems like this may not have further damaged her relationship with Cardi. The Queen artist congratulated all of last night’s winners.

She also expressed her appreciation for her fans. “To everyone who said something sweet, thank you. Whether I read it or not, I felt it,” she tweeted. “From the bottom of my heart. I love you so much. So so so soooo much.” And although she appears to have cancelled her performance for BET, she made it clear that she’d be announcing dates for a summer tour in the near future. Between that and confirming the imminent release of her Avril Lavigne collab “Dumb Blonde,” it is clear that she has plenty in store moving forward. Check out her latest batch of tweets below.
