Raja Kumari has a lot in store this year. After honing her pen crafting songs for the likes of Iggy Azalea, Fifth Harmony and Gwen Stefani, the singer/rapper stepped into the spotlight on her debut EP in 2016. Since then, she has come into her own with a slew of very promising tracks. And she added another to her growing discography with the unveiling of new single “Karma” this week. Featuring production from Sean Garrett, it is a hard-hitting, globally inspired bop. “Careful what you say, karma like a bitch,” she warns over a fierce beat. The song joins previously released banger “Shook” on the tracklist for her second EP, BLOODLINE.

Out February 22, the project features additional production from Sean Garrett and Danja. Suffice to say that it is shaping up to be one to keep your eye on next week. Raja offered some additional insight into the EP in a press release. “BLOODLINE asks the question, “Who are you?” It’s not just about your family line or your heritage,” she explained. “WHO ARE YOU? What runs through your veins and what are you willing to fight for? This collection of songs was inspired by my time in India. I found strength in the Motherland, and these battle anthems are my story, my bloodline.”

That’s not all the “I Did It” hitmaker has in store for the year. She also recently launched a show called “The New India” for Beats 1 on Apple Music. What else? She’ll be embarking on a North American tour starting next week. While we wait to listen to BLOODLINE, catch up on her latest single below!
