Pink is nothing but true to her word. Two weeks to the date after promising to release new music, she returns with “Walk Me Home.” The 39-year-old announced her latest era during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I have a new song ‘Walk Me Home,’ and I have a new album Hurts 2B Human,” she gushed before providing an a cappella preview of the song. Co-written with Nate Reuss and Scott Harris, it is a timely anthem. On it, she pleads with her lover to stay by her side to provide a sense of peace. “Walk me home in the dead of night. I can’t be alone with all that’s on my mind. So say you’ll stay with me tonight, cause there is so much wrong going on outside.”

The soaring release feels like a fitting follow-up to 2017’s “What About Us” and should hopefully perform just as well. It is sure to get a boost when Pink rolls out the accompanying video. Directed by Greatest Showman director Michael Gracey, I’m expecting a jaw-dropping spectacle. That’s not all, though. It looks like the superstar has already lined up her first performance. Later today she’ll perform at the 2019 Brit Awards after picking up the evening’s Outstanding Contribution To Music award. Unsurprisingly, it seems like the hitmaker is prepared to stun us with another impressive live feat. She urged her fans to pray for her and promised something “amazing” was in the works on Instagram.

With another leg of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour kicking off March 1 and Hurts 2B Human dropping in April, it is an exciting time for Pink. While we wait to see all that she has in store, press play on “Walk Me Home” below!
