"I was just driving, and I just seen guns and blue lights. And then I was in the back of a car, and I was gone," 21 Savage said of being arrested. On February 3, 2019, ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents apprehended the rapper. This took place on the day of the Super Bowl in the city where the rapper grew up, Atlanta. The arrest prompted an open dialogue between celebrities and commoners alike. As it turns out, Savage, whose real name is Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, is international since his parents conceived him in the United Kingdom. Is there more he hid from his fans and everyone else?...

If you enjoy 21 Savage songs, then you know that he loves rapping about how he's from "Zone 6" which is the zone that covers the Eastside of Atlanta. It would be blasphemy if you accused 21 that of not being from Atlanta. Then, on February 3, 2019, that all changed when ICE came for the rapper.

"They didn't say nothing," Savage added. "They just said, 'We got Savage.'" While he was calmly enjoying the day of the Super Bowl, authorities came for him seemingly out of the blue. Nobody knew he wasn't born in Atlanta.

You've probably heard about rapper 50 Cent getting shot nine times which is crazy. Well, in the rap world, having bullets fly at you isn't something out of the blue. It pretty much comes with the territory.

21 Savage said he was shot six times on 21st birthday. That's ultimately what led to him turning to music. He almost lost his life due to blood loss after a bullet struck his neck.

One of the many characteristics that stands out about 21 Savage is a striking dagger tattoo on his forehead. Many have joked that it's Excalibur after they discovered he was from the U.K. However, that is far from the truth.

The tattoo serves as a tribute to his little brother Tay Man who died when he was younger. Tay Man had gotten the symbol to represent the crew they were a part of. After his death, 21 got it too to show his respect.

Drake is arguably the biggest name in hip-hop and pop music, aside from a few others. In 2016, the pair linked up for a song called "Sneakin'" which came with a wild music video. Fans started to speculate that Drake had signed 21 to his OVO label.

That rumor hasn't been confirmed by any of the camps, so it just appears that they are just rap friends. They both have birthdays in the same month (October) as well.

On an episode of Sneaker Shopping with Complex, he revealed that he has three children. That's a whole lot of diaper changing practice he's had. Do the other parents get intimidated by that huge dagger on his forehead?

Let's be honest, when aren't the Kardashians and their family in the news? If it isn't Kim, then it's someone else that's causing a stir in the media. When Kylie Jenner was with rapper Tyga, 21 Savage had some choice words for the young Jenner.

Savage had pretty much said that he wanted to do what adults do when they're alone in a bedroom with Jenner and proceeded to tweet about his crush on her. Tyga responded by teasing a diss song about Savage. We don't think Tyga should be starting anything with someone who's been shot six times.

When 21 Savage was in high school, he wasn't the kid to mess with. He didn't want to have random conversations with you, and he probably didn't even want to be there in the first place.

Savage found himself in tons of trouble while in school and eventually got kicked out. He threatened another student with a gun and that was the last straw. He was kicked out of a number of schools before he ended up in juvenile detention.

Gucci Mane is a rapper who has been around for far longer than 21 Savage has and is also from Atlanta. Gucci has inspired many acts hailing from Atlanta and Savage isn't exempt from that list.

"He opened up a lane for street guys to rap from East Atlanta, so that's why I salute Gucci," Savage said in an interview with Hotnewhiphop. It sounds like if it wasn't for Gucci Mane, we wouldn't know who 21 Savage is!

When it comes to big-name musicians, they usually have one thing in common. They've been at it for years. Music isn't something they just 'get into' since they've been doing it since they were young.

21 Savage didn't begin making music until 2015! The first song that started to get others' attention was "Keep It 21,000." Since then, he released three projects in 2015 and followed that up with a mixtape called Savage Mode in 2016.

After starting with music in 2015, it didn't take long for 21 Savage to become a local celebrity. All it took was the release of his debut project, Slaughter Tape. Savage didn't even have a marketing plan when he came out with it, either.

All Savage had was his Macbook and a microphone but he quickly caught the attention of big-time rappers like Future, Young Thug, Meek Mill and many more. How's that for beginners luck!

Savage posted this image on Instagram with the caption, "bday gift from @champagnepapi." Fans spotted the car in their joint music video. Whatever the reason for this luxurious gift, it's safe to say Drake has enough to spend for it.
