Louis Tomlinson will relaunch his solo career with a new single called “Two Of Us.” The 27-year-old revealed the cover art on social media and confirmed March 7 as the release date. He also shared a snippet of the song, which sounds like a stripped-back piano ballad. There is no vocal in the preview, but the One Direction star shared the lyric “it’s been a minute since I called you.” It will be interesting to see how the song is received after the under performance of 2017’s “Miss You.”

The Brit’s solo career got off to a promising enough star with a club feature on Steve Aoki’s “Just Hold On,” which reached number two in the UK. He then landed another UK top 10 (and his first solo top 40 hit in the US) with “Back To You” — a cute collaboration with Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals. Much like Liam Payne, Louis has struggled to carved out his own identity post 1D. Hopefully, “Two Of Us” gives us a better indication of what he’s all about as an artist. See the suave cover art below.
