Mariah Carey's 'Caution': Album Review
Here's our track-by-track review of Mariah's impeccable 'Caution' album.

Mariah Carey kicked off the Caution World Tour in Dallas, Texas tonight (February 27) and delivered a mouthwatering mix of hits, deep cuts and a tribute to Glitter! When you have as many classics and number ones as Mimi (which is difficult to get… not everybody has that), it’s impossible to cover every phase of your iconic career. But she comes very, very close with this setlist. First of all, most of Caution is performed. The reverse-aging icon begins with “A No No” and also weaves in “8th Grade,” “Portrait,” “GTFO,” “With You,” the title track and “Stay Long Love You.”

I was hoping Mariah would bless us with “Giving Me Life,” but you can’t have everything. Other highlights include the rarely performed “Anytime You Need A Friend,” Charmbracelet gem “My Saving Grace,” the live debut of Glitter anthems “Never Too Far” and “I Didn’t Mean To Turn You On,” and Daydream deep cut “Looking In.” All in all, this is a startling testament to the Lamb Whisperer’s longevity. There are hits from three decades that, no doubt, all hang seamlessly together. See the opening night setlist below.
