Dean Lewis unveils the cover of his debut album, 'A Place We Knew.'

2019 is shaping up to be a massive year for Dean Lewis. The Aussie singer/songwriter’s mournful breakup anthem “Be Alright” recently cracked the top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 and his North American Tour completely sold-out. The good times will continue to roll with the imminent arrival of his debut LP (A Place We Knew drops on March 22) and the exploding popularity of “7 Minutes.” The followup to “Be Alright” has already racked up close to 30 million streams on Spotify and is being Shazam’d at an alarming rate.

The catchy tune will get an added boost by the arrival of a Stevie Russell-directed video. It documents Dean’s relationship in a non-linear way, mixing in scenes of happiness with the couple’s ultimate breakup. The unlucky-in-love hitmaker tries to make things right, but things don’t quite go to plan. “Stevie has directed some of my favorite music videos of all time,” Dean says. “He’s the one person I’ve wanted to work with more than anyone. It was such a great experience, and I feel like this music video feels exactly how the song feels.”

Watch Dean be miserable above.
