Premiere: SANG Launches Musical Career With Debut Single “Fantasy”

Balancing dual careers as a musician and an aspiring lawyer seems like a lot of work. However, it’s a challenge that rising star SANG is ready to face. Luckily he’s already proven himself capable of juggling a variety of responsibilities. Previously, he worked as a model in Los Angeles and studied economics at Brown University. However, discovering his passion for music offered an opportunity to explore some new creative ground. Today (March 8), he takes the first steps toward establishing himself as a pop star with the release of debut single “Fantasy.” The moody bop sees him singing in English and Korean and features a production that’s sure to get stuck in your head after an initial listen.

He opened up about the track’s meaning in a press release. “​The song is about telling the girl that if she believes in me and trusts in me, I can fulfill any of her fantasies,” SANG explained. The hard-working hitmaker also opened up about his decision to balance a variety of professional responsibilities. “People are constantly asking me about my identity. Are you a lawyer? Are you an artist? Do you think you can possibly do both? And to that I unapologetically say, I have no idea. One role is creating artistry, and the other role is more serious; but I believe that I can be both and strive my best to make it work.”
