Haley Reinhart’s “Honey, There’s The Door” Video Is A Vintage Fantasy
Haley Reinhart’s “Honey, There’s The Door” was a breath of fresh air on an otherwise stuffy New Music Friday. The jazzy jam, which finds the 28-year-old laying down the ground rules to her new man, is a throwback to a different time and place. As such, it makes perfect sense for the American Idol alum to create her own vintage fantasy in the video. It begins with our heroine preparing herself for a romantic encounter (curling her hair, reading movie magazines and eating chicken wings in the bath).
She then steps out for a little twirl around the dancefloor with Julz Tocker from Dancing With The Stars. Haley rocks a white satin dress and Veronica Lake curls, while her beau is suitably attired in a tux. “Honey, There’s The Door” is the latest single from the “Can’t Help Falling In Love” hitmaker’s upcoming 4th LP, Lo-Fi Soul. The album covers a wide array of genres (soul, jazz, R&B and rock) and drops on March 27. Haley will support the album with a North American tour. Buy tickets here and watch her new video below.
