Iggy Azalea came for blood with the release of “Sally Walker.” And she has a serious hit on her hands. Since dropping last week, the ferocious banger has taken up residence within the Top 10 on US iTunes and amassed more than 1.7 million Spotify streams. Meanwhile, the accompanying video (a fierce work of art) has been viewed more than 16 million times on YouTube. All signs point toward Iggy making a strong debut on the Billboard Hot 100 in the coming weeks. However, her comeback single has drawn some comparisons to Cardi B’s Top 20 hit “Money.” Of course, this led to rumors that the Aussie hitmaker was trying to steal Cardi’s style.

Thankfully, producer J White (who is responsible for crafting both “Sally Walker” and “Money”) was quick to jump to her defense on Twitter. “Actually that’s false,” he wrote in reply to a user claiming Iggy hit the studio trying to replicate Cardi’s sound. He then proceeded to retweet several other supportive messages. “What if Iggy actually DIDN’T bite Cardi B’s last single? Could it possibly be the SAME PRODUCER behind both of the records with an incredible, CHART TOPPING sound?” one message read. In another tweet, the producer promised that more hits were on the way. That includes at least one more collaboration with Iggy, which you can listen to a teaser of here.

Check out his tweets and revisit “Sally Walker” below while we wait to hear what else they have cooked up together.
