New Music Friday just got a lot more interesting! Kailee Morgue is teaming up with Lesbian Jesus (AKA Hayley Kiyoko) for all-female queer power anthem called “Headcase.” The breakout star, who came out in 2018, revealed the cover art on social media and confirmed March 22 as the release date. It’s the first taste of the 20-year-old’s sophomore EP and was produced by frequent collaborator CJ Baran. Kailee has been building momentum for a while now, so this could be the single that takes her to the next level.

Of course, the LA-based artist first went viral in 2017 with a preview of “Medusa.” That caught the attention of Republic Records and she released the song as her debut single shortly thereafter. A steady stream of very good singles followed (“F**k U” and “Siren” need your full attention) as well as a couple of collaborations (she featured on Whethan’s “Do U Feel This Way” and Bearson’s “Go To Sleep”). See Kailee’s announcement and listen to the song below.
