Why Don't We Interview
We speak to the rising boy band about their 'Invitation' EP & anniversary.

Why Don’t We is on a steep upward trajectory. The boy band, who first found fame on YouTube, released their debut LP, 8 Letters, in 2018 and peaked at an impressive number 9 on the Billboard 200. Instead of resting on their laurels, the five-member group rolled out a new single called “Big Plans” at the top of the year and promptly racked up 50 million cumulative streams. They will be hoping for even more success with their next single. “I Don’t Belong In This Club” arrives tonight (March 19) and features Macklemore.

The budding hitmakers revealed the cover of their new single on social media this afternoon. It finds Why Don’t We and Macklemore on the dance floor of an old-school disco in their finest ’70s get-up. It will be interesting to see if the song also evokes that era. In any case, this could be the song that finally takes Jonah Marais, Corbyn Besson, Daniel Seavey, Jack Avery and Zach Herron to the upper reaches of the Billboard Hot 100. See the cover art below and check back later tonight for the song.
