UPDATE: RM and HONNE’s highly anticipated collaboration has arrived, and it is a must-hear, re-worked version of the duo’s “Crying Over You.” Listen to the BTS legend’s new verse below.

Well, this week just got a lot more exciting! We have spent the last few weeks preparing to be slayed by the arrival of BTS’ new album MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA. The K-Pop Kings will drop their latest collection (which is all but guaranteed to hit the top spot on the Billboard 200) on April 12. The following day, they will make history with a set on SNL. But it turns out we won’t have to wait that long to hear new material from one member of the group. Today (March 25), we learned RM, one of the legendary septet’s rappers, linked up with UK-based electro-soul duo HONNE on a new track. The Love Me / Love Me Not hitmakers announced the collaboration on social media.

They also confirmed that it is dropping on Wednesday (March 27) and hinted at the mysterious song’s lyrical content. If this is any indication, RM is hopping on a serious tear-jerker. “Guess life’s like this, shit happens. And we look for the magic but good things always come to an end,” the announcement teases. It’s worth noting that this is not the first time the acts have worked together. HONNE helped the “IDOL” icon produce “seoul” off of last year’s mono. playlist. We’ll have to wait and see if they have another hit on their hands. Check out the announcement tweet below.
