The talented teen's hot streak continues with the murky 'bury a friend.'

It’s official. Billie Eilish is The Next Big Thing. Her creepily-titled debut LP, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, is headed to number one on the Billboard 200 with a massive first-week sales tally. Not only that, but the project is being lavished with stellar reviews and the 17-year-old is on the brink of earning her first top 10 hit with “Bad Guy.” Somewhat strangely, that isn’t the song she chose to perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday (April 1). Instead, she went with 2018 ballad “when the party’s over.”

Billie performed the gloomy anthem sitting in a pool of water with only her brother (and producer), Finneas O’Connell, accompanying her on the piano. The less-is-more approach really worked, particularly with the striking use of stage lighting. In other Eilish-related news, the talented teen opened THE BILLIE EILISH EXPERIENCE to celebrate the release of her LP. It’s a self-curated museum with a room dedicated to each song on album. “I wanted to create a space in which I could really show you the way I see things,” she wrote on Instagram. “As well as let you hear the album with a good sound system and in an atmosphere that was exactly what it needed to be.”
