Jennifer Lopez Talks “Medicine,” New LP & ‘Hustlers’ On Beats 1

Jennifer Lopez dropped by Ebro Darden’s show on Apple Music’s Beats 1 yesterday (April 3) to talk about her new single and other upcoming projects. The ultimate triple threat raved about reuniting with French Montana on “Medicine,” putting their creative chemistry down to a shared birthplace. “I love collaborating with people from the Bronx, it makes me feel at home, like a special connection,” she explained. “At the core I’m still Jenny from the Block. And this new track brought that out.” The video drops on Sunday (April 7) during World Of Dance.

As for that long-delayed 9th LP? We might have to wait a while longer. “My next album will be probably be with a new movie,” J.Lo said without further explanation. The flawless 49-year-old was more forthcoming about about her role in Hustlers and even revealed that her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, helped her research the wild world of stripping. “Alex was very excited about me doing a stripper movie,” she laughed. “He helped me do research by going to a strip club in NYC with me and we watched the show and afterwards I chatted to some of the girls.”
