Love and robots don't mix in Katy & Zedd's blockbuster '365' video.

You can’t throw a rock in Las Vegas without hitting an iconic diva. Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Céline Dion have all blessed Sin City with their presence. Next in line, it seems, is Katy Perry. According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the “Bon Appetit” legend was spotted touring The Colosseum at Caesars Place last week. “[Katy] reportedly toured the venue for a little less than an hour on Friday afternoon,” the article reads. “She was joined by Caesars Entertainment officials to discuss a possible residency.”

Of course, the venue needs to find a major star to replace Céline. Her 16-year (!) stint at The Colosseum ends on June 8 and a replacement is yet to be found. It certainly would be an interesting move. I’m told that Katy is a lot closer to releasing new music than she is letting on in interviews, so it might be hard to juggle promotional duties and other commitments (American Idol, her glamorous shoe line etc.) with a residency. On the other hand, residencies have never been cooler and it would allow the hitmaker to have a solid home base.

Revisit Katy & Zedd’s rudely slept-on “365” (below) while we wait for more information.
