Anitta just keeps blessing us with new music. Last week the Brazilian pop goddess dropped her impeccable Kisses. The audiovisual album is an incredible feat. Comprised of 10 songs, it sees her sing in English, Portuguese and Spanish (we stan a trilingual legend). Oh yeah, it also features 10 eye-popping music videos, the clear standout being her Becky G-assisted “Banana.” The album came in addition to last month’s “RIP,” a collaboration with Sofia Reyes and Rita Ora. While that would be enough for most hitmakers, it was just the start of what Anitta has in store for us. Today (April 12), she’s back again with her UglyDolls soundtrack contribution “Ugly.”

Unsurprisingly, it is yet another win. It is also a testament to her commendable work ethic. Instead of releasing only one version of the song, Anitta recorded three takes: One in English, another in Spanish and a final in Portuguese. Over a sweet production, the track picks up where the soundtrack’s lead single – Kelly Clarkson’s “Broken & Beautiful” – left off. How so? It is another empowering anthem with an uplifting message. “Even when I’m at my worst, when I’ve been down so long it hurts, when I’m feeling ugly, know I gotta love me. Cause I’m, I’m still beautiful,” the siren declares. The release has me even more excited to hear the rest of the star-studded collection, which drops April 26.

While we wait for contributions from the likes of Nick Jonas, Bebe Rexha and more check out all three versions of “Ugly” below.
