She’s Coming! Taylor Swift Teases An Announcement

It looks like Taylor Swift has some news coming before the end of this month. Over the weekend, the 29-year-old took to social media to get things rolling. Posting a photo of a diamond-encrusted heart, she simply captioned it “4.26.” And she’s uploaded a new photo with the same caption every day since then. Yesterday (April 14), she showcased some of her collection of opal rings, and today’s post is very pink. It’s unclear exactly what is coming on April 26. However, it looks like we may be getting news about the hitmaker’s seventh album. At least, that’s what Swifties think.

Earlier this year, Taylor’s fans went into overdrive when she began posting a series of mysterious photos on Instagram. If you ask them, they’re clues that a new era is coming soon. And they have good reason to expect that. The “Delicate” singer did tease new music when she inked a deal with Universal Music Group last year. And they have just as many theories about the latest batch of photos. One fan noted that “The Story Of Us,” a song on Taylor’s Speak Now, clocks in at 4 minutes and 26 seconds. Not only that, but it includes a line about the next chapter. And it gets even better.

Another fan pointed out “The Story Of Us” is the seventh song on the album’s tracklist. That’s not all. Swifties noticed that Taylor liked the post putting it all together. Does that mean that we’ll be getting news about the album on April 26? It looks like we may. Based on the tone of the ethereal, pastel-hued photos that she has been uploading, it seems like she’s taking a step back from the hard edge of Reputation. Will TS7 be a collection of loved-up bops and sugary confections? I’m very here for it if so.
