Zara Larsson serves looks and emotion in the glamorous video for 'Ruin My Life.'

Third times a charm! Zara Larsson rolls out the third single from her much-anticipated sophomore LP tonight (April 26) and it’s easily her best yet. Produced by Marshmello, “Wow” is all about feeling sexy in your own skin. “Baby, I’m not even in a gown, I’m just in a t-shirt on the couch,” the Swedish pop star coos over piano keys and atmospheric beats. “The way you want me makes me want you now, the only thing you have to say is (Wow).” That’s when things take a turn for the weirder on the magnificent post-chorus drop.

I’m still not sure what to expect from ZL2. “Ruin My Life” found her in pure-pop mode, while “Don’t Worry Bout Me” explored ’90s club music. “Wow” doesn’t have an obvious reference point, which makes it a very exciting addition to Zara’s discography. If nothing else, the 21-year-old sure knows how to keep us guessing. It will be interesting to see how pop radio responds to “Wow.” The sound is a little out there, but it is brimming with hooks and Marshmello has the Midas touch. Take a listen to the breakout star’s very good new single below.
