Iggy Azalea Is The Ultimate Gold Digger In Her “Started” Video
Things are looking very good for Iggy Azalea as she readies the release of her highly anticipated sophomore LP In My Defense. Lead single “Sally Walker” arrived with a bang and found some well-deserved success on the charts. In fact, it became the 28-year-old’s biggest hit since 2016. But she could very easily top it with her new single “Started.” Another production from J. White Did It, the track is a serious banger. Not only that, but it benefits from what is all but guaranteed to be a viral video. A series of teasers on social media implied this would be a fabulous work of art. Suffice to say that the final product eclipses even the loftiest expectations.
Out today (May 3), it sees Iggy playing the ultimate gold digger. In the opening scene, she exchanges vows with an older gentleman. After saying “I do” in a very short white gown, the fun really begins. Looks are served as she hits the pool and pushes her new hubby around their expansive mansion. Unfortunately (for him), her man meets an untimely end and the hitmaker is left to enjoy her new life on her own. How does she do that? By redecorating, commissioning a suit made out of hundred-dollar bills and throwing a massive party. Sounds like the best way to go. Toss in cameos from Trixie Mattel and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo (Miss Vanjie), and you have what is bound to be another meme-spawning smash.
