Disney struck gold with a live adaptation of Beauty And The Beast in 2017. And they’re looking to do the same with an updated take on Aladdin later this month. The film flies into theaters May 24 and is shaping up to be another blockbuster based on previews. Of course, one of the most interesting components will be seeing how the iconic music is handled. Fans expect timeless classics like “Friend Like Me” and “A Whole New World” to be lovingly integrated into the film. But it will also be refreshing to hear them performed by some new artists on the accompanying soundtrack.

Last time around, Disney recruited Ariana Grande and John Legend to reimagine Beauty And The Beast’s titular standard. This time, they called down ZAYN and Zhavia for a cover of “A Whole New World.” Produced by Saltwives, it arrives today (May 9). And the song stays fairly true to the original with the addition of some extra flourishes in the production. The single also comes packaged with a video directed by Philip Andelman. Instead of featuring footage from the film, it highlights the two artists in a variety of settings. Serving vocals and visually striking looks, it’s a solid promise that the rest of the soundtrack will be equally strong.

Give the single a listen and check out the video below.
