Miley Cyrus Confirms That A New Era Is About To Commence
UPDATE: She. Is. Coming. It looks like Miley is signaling her new era launches May 30 via an update to her Instagram. Check it out below.
Miley Cyrus is officially coming! The pop star confirmed that her new era is about to commence via Twitter earlier this morning (May 9). “Just played the record for [iHeartRadio] and they fucking flipped and so will you!” she informed update-hungry Smilers. This comes a couple of days after the 26-year-old shared a snippet of a new song called “Bad Karma.” The track, which was produced by Mark Ronson, has a rootsy, alt-pop vibe and reportedly features Shawn Mendes. (Although there is no official confirmation on that).
It looks like there is at least one more collaborator (or possibly just an influence) on the song. “Wow. She’s coming already [Miley Cyrus]? Those [Angel Olsen] guitars sure cut like razor wire,” Mark tweeted. In previous interviews, the “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker confirmed Ronson, Andrew Wyatt and Mike WiLL Made-It as the album’s main producers. It will be interesting to see how the album fares in the wake of Younger Now. Miley needs a radio hit and “Bad Karma” could just be it. See her Twitter announcement below.
