Kim Petras Covers ‘ATKODE,’ Talks Her Sound & Musical Goals

Kim Petras is rapidly becoming one of the busiest divas in the game. For the last three weeks, she’s graced us with one perfect bop after another. The 25-year-old kicked things off with her biting breakup anthem “Broken.” From there she moved on to the rowdy “Got My Number,” and this week the impressive hot streak continued with “Blow It All.” But that’s not all. We’re also getting a new photoshoot. Today (May 10), the pop princess serves endlessly fierce looks in a spread for ATKODE. Shot by Angela Peterman, each frame is better than the last.

In an accompanying interview the rising star offers some insight into her creative goals and vibrant musicality. “I just want people to have more fun. I’m all about fun. I love music that I can listen to and forget myself and my problems. That’s the kind of music I want to make,” she explained. “I want to make fun music but, at the same time, I want to do what feels honest to me.” I don’t know about you, but I’d say that goal has been perfectly achieved.
