Megan Thee Stallion Brings The Heat In Her “Realer” Video
Megan Thee Stallion is officially rap’s new It Girl. The 24-year-old has dominated the conversation on social media all year and stormed the charts with “Big Ole Freak.” (The sexy banger recently became her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100). She is now ready to take things to the next level with “Realer” — the focus single from her just-released Fever mixtape. “Realer” finds Megan putting haters in their place and celebrating her authenticity. Two themes that are expertly conveyed in the colorful video.
Much like the cover of Fever, the rapper’s “Realer” video is a nod to Blaxploitation films of the ’70s. The clip begins with Megan and her girls rocking tiny bikinis in a convertible. The message here is body positivity as the curvy queens shake their assets for the camera. They are on a mission to track down a hater, but they get side-tracked by a whole lot of twerking and posing with guns. It’s a little rough around the edges — and that’s exactly what makes it such a breath of fresh air. Watch Megan do her thing below.
