UPDATE: A video has arrived for “Cross Me.” Check out the special effects-laden release below.

Ed Sheeran is on fire right now. Earlier this month the Brit linked up with Justin Bieber on “I Don’t Care,” which is shaping up to be a serious smash. The summery anthem surpassed 100 million Spotify streams in under two weeks. Meanwhile, the accompanying video has been viewed more than 54 million times. Those numbers translated to massive success on the charts. And the crooner is already back at it with another single. Today (May 24), he joins forces with Chance The Rapper and PnB Rock on “Cross Me.” Laying their voices over slickly produced beats, the hitmakers stand by their ladies.

“If you cross her, then you cross me,” the 28-year-old warns on the chorus. All things considered, I’d say Ed has a second early contender in the running for the coveted title of Song Of The Summer this year. And it’s a sure bet that we’ll be hearing a lot more from him in the coming months. This week he announced the impending release of No.6 Collaborations Project. What is that, exactly? A star-studded mixtape containing 15 collaborative tracks. Both “I Don’t Care” and “Cross Me” made the tracklist, and the rest of the collection (currently featuring a slew of mystery artists) promises to be just as hot.

Hopefully we’ll get to preview a couple more songs before the July 12 release date. In the meantime, give “Cross Me” a listen below and preorder No.6 Collaborations Project here.
