The Swedish pop star concludes her 'Lady Wood' saga with a 'Blue Lips' mini-movie.

With Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Bebe Rexha, Camila Cabello and Rita Ora in the mix, this week’s New Music Friday lineup is already out of control. And it’s only going to get crazier as the week progresses. For example, Tove Lo is getting in on the action by releasing a new single. The Swedish pop star will launch the Sunshine Kitty era on May 31 with a banger called “Glad He’s Gone.” She shared a brief snippet today (May 28) and it sounds like a typically feisty slice of elctro-pop with a killer chorus.

“Never no tears for that sucker, only one date — that’s a bummer,” Tove sings over frantic production courtesy of The Struts and Shellback. “Dancing all night, get guys’ numbers. Better off, I’m glad that he’s gone.” As much as I like the Lady Wood saga (and I like it A LOT), this bop already sounds more accessible and radio-friendly. Could we be treated to another crossover era like Queen Of The Clouds? We’ll know more on Friday. In the meantime, check out Tove’s adorable teaser video below and pre-order “Glad He’s Gone” here.
