Charli XCX Preps New Album ‘Charli,’ Announces ‘The Charli LIVE World Tour’
Charli XCX just blessed the day with so much good news. For starters, she confirmed the impending release of her highly anticipated third album. Called Charli, it arrives September 13 and is available to pre-order and pre-save here. That’s barely the tip of the iceberg, though. Earlier this week, the 26-year-old confirmed the LP consisted of 15 tracks and housed 14 featured artists. We were already familiar with some of the talented bunch: Lizzo, Troye Sivan and Christine and the Queens. The rest is just as fabulous. Who else is involved? Co-executive producer A. G. Cook, HAIM, Brooke Candy, CupcakKe, Big Freedia, Sky Ferreira, Kim Petras, Tommy Cash, Clairo, Yaeji and Pabllo Vittar.
But wait, there’s more. Charli also announced plans to embark on a transatlantic tour. Called the Charli LIVE World Tour, everything launches September 20 in Atlanta, Georgia. From there, the hitmaker makes stops in most major markets across North America. Along the way, she’ll be supported by Tommy Genesis, Brooke Candy, Dorian Electra and Allie X. The North American leg wraps up with an October 22 show in New York. Then it’s off to Europe. Tickets will be available for pre-order to the general public as of June 21 here. And I’m still not done. The generous diva is capping off with the day by dropping a video for her Lizzo collab “Blame It On Your Love.”
Keep an eye on this post, and we’ll get it updated once the video arrives. In the meantime, check out the Charli tracklist and associated tour dates below.
