Anitta Hops On Major Lazer’s New Single “Make It Hot”

Anitta is one of the busiest divas in the game. We have yet to recover from her excellent audiovisual album Kisses. However, the Brazilian Pop Goddess is already gracing us with new content. Last week she lent her voice to Madonna’s Madame X. The duo collaborated on “Faz Gostoso,” and the feisty bilingual bop instantly became a fan-favorite on the tracklist. And she’s not done. This week the hitmaker is hopping on a new track with Major Lazer. It’s called “Make It Hot” and drops tomorrow (June 19).
Major Lazer started teasing the collaboration yesterday (June 17) with a video on social media. “Back at it with the goddess,” they wrote in the caption. Today, they unveiled the colorful cover art and uploaded a snippet of the sensual banger. It looks like the single will land on the group’s fourth album but also appears to signify some sort of partnership with Bacardi. Maybe it will soundtrack a commercial for the brand this summer? Maybe we’ll find out more when it premieres.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Anitta collaborated with the supergroup. Back in 2017, she linked up with them and Pabllo Vittar on “Sua Cara.” Hopefully this time around will net them an even bigger smash. Listen to “Make It Hot” below.
