Album Review: 'Happiness Begins'
We review the Jonas Brothers' comeback album, 'Happiness Begins.'

Jonas Brothers are on a roll. They landed the biggest hit of their career with comeback single, “Sucker,” and backed up it with the biggest first-week sales debut of 2019 with the just-released Happiness Begins. (414,000 units sold). The trio now rolls out a brand new single courtesy of an appearance on NBC’s Songland — a hit TV show where undiscovered songwriters pitch their creations to major artists and producers. The Jo Bros felt a connection with contestant Able Heart and decided to bring his song — a sexy number called “Greenlight” — to life.

“Oh girl, I’d never change a thing about you, I fell in love with the way that you move,” Nick Jonas begins the song over Ryan Tedder and Ester Dean’s production. “Got me eyeing all the things that you do, make me never wanna leave the bedroom.” It turns out the Joe Jonas is feeling similarly aroused. “Ain’t nobody in the world does it like you do,” he croons. “Got me begging you for more, yeah it’s nothing new.” That leads us to the catchy chorus. “Just say I got the greenlight, the things we do past midnight,” they sing.

“Greenlight” was released after last night’s episode of Songland shot straight to number two on iTunes. The only song in its path? Taylor Swift’s “You Need To Calm Down.” Listen below.
