Ed Sheeran is gracing this week’s New Music Friday with another taste of his forthcoming No.6 Collaborations Project. The 28-year-old has already called down vocals from a very talented batch of collaborators on the mixtape’s previous singles. He kicked things off by linking up with Justin Bieber on the summery “I Don’t Care.” Next up was “Cross Me,” which features Chance The Rapper and PnB Rock. Today (June 28), he partners up with Khalid on the collection’s opener “Beautiful People.” Over production courtesy of FRED, Max Martin and Shellback, the duo addresses fears of losing sight of themselves in an image-obsessed crowd.

“This is my only fear,” Ed sings. “That we become beautiful people.” The hitmaker goes on to describe what that entails over bouncy beats. “Drop top, designer clothes. Front row at fashion shows. ‘What do you do’ and ‘Who do you know?'” Khalid’s velvety voice is the perfect complement, and this sounds like another serious hit. At the rate things are going, No.6 Collaborations Project is shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of the year. It’s already netted the crooner two Top 10 singles, and the tracklist houses more star-studded anthems featuring the likes of Camila Cabello, Cardi B and Bruno Mars.

Its July 12 release date cannot come soon enough. In the meantime, give Ed and Khalid’s duet a listen below and keep an eye on this post. We’ll get it updated once the official video arrives, which is due out in a couple hours.
