Valerie Broussard's 'Deeper'
The breakout star teams up with Lindsey Stirling for new single, 'Deeper.'

Valerie Broussard is shaping up to be one of the breakout stars of 2019. The singer/songwriter landed a global hit as the featured artist on Kygo’s “Think About You” and impressed the Norwegian DJ so much that he signed to his Palm Tree Records imprint via RCA. It didn’t take long for Valerie’s major label debut single to arrive and “Deeper,” a soaring ballad, expertly showcased her powerful pipes. She now follows it up with an upbeat bop called “Actually,” which is catchy enough to make serious waves.

“Five hundred and forty seven days, since I started ignoring the way that you look at me,” Valerie coos over Mark Nilan Jr.’s warm, organic production. “And I’ve been fine mostly, except when your hand touches mine accidentally.” That leads us to the instantly catchy chorus. “Actually you’re always on my mind, actually, you might be what I need,” she belts. “And I can’t believe that I wasted all this time, ’cause maybe we’re meant to be.” Listen below. The Philadelphia native is definitely One To Watch.
