Carly Rae Jepsen delivered no shortage of perfection on Dedicated. The LP, her first since 2015’s beloved E·MO·TION, is easily one of the strongest pop projects of the year. And one of its brightest highlights is “Too Much.” The sugary synth anthem falls perfectly in the 33-year-old’s wheelhouse. And it could very easily prove to be a breakout hit from the album. That’s why it is so great to see it get some love. The diva already rolled out a cute video for the track. Today (July 2), it gets another boost with the unveiling of a live rendition released in partnership with Vevo.

Shot with a live band, the new version is predictably fantastic. Dressed in a chic red jacket, CRJ serves vocals and keeps the focus on the relatable lyrics. “So be careful if you’re wanting this touch. Cause if I love you, then I love you too much,” she coos. There’s an added benefit: Watching her in action leaves me even more excited for The Dedicated Tour. The show kicked off June 27 in Anaheim, and dates are scheduled through October. Based on what we’re seeing, this is going to be one of the hottest tickets of the summer. Check out dates for the show here and peep her latest performance below.
