The Kings of K-Pop are in the midst of another historic and action-packed year. Back in April, BTS reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 with MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA. Not only that, but they broke into the Top 10 on the Hot 100 with the Halsey-assisted lead single “Boy With Luv.” Since then, the septet has kept very busy. Jin, Jimin and Jungkook teamed up with Charli XCX on “Dream Glow.” J-hope and V partnered with Zara Larsson on “A Brande New Day.” Meanwhile, RM and Suga featured Juice WRLD on “All Night.”

All three of those songs landed on the soundtrack for their game BTS World. That arrived Friday (June 28), and the group is already on to their next project. Today (July 2), they return with their new Japanese release “Lights.” The single, which arrived alongside Japanese versions of “Boy With Luv” and “IDOL,” is a soaring anthem. And they bring it to life in the accompanying video, a large portion of which takes place in a movie theater. Soft and dreamy, it is the perfect complement to the song. And it is already looking like another viral sensation.

At the time of publishing, the “Lights” video has already amassed more than 1.7 million views. Check it out up top and listen to the Japanese takes on Boy With Luv” and “IDOL” below.
