Loud Luxury Interview
We speak to the Canadian duo about breakout hit 'Body' & their next single.

Loud Luxury landed one of the biggest crossover club hits in recent memory with “Body.” The bone-rattling banger proved to be a worldwide phenomenon, racking up more than 500 million streams. The Canadian duo, comprised of Andrew Fredyk and Joe De Pace, have dropped a couple of singles since then, but “I’m Not Alright” feels like the official followup. A collaboration with breakout star Bryce Vine, the bittersweet bop sounds like a potential summer smash.

“We met Bryce at a party in LA through a friend when we got back from our fall tour,” Loud Luxury explains. “The next day, he came over and showed us an idea he made that was just a guitar and the chorus. During our winter tour we worked across North America in hotel rooms, studios, and even an Uber with our headphones to finish writing the song.” What’s it all about? “At the end of the day we are all human, we all make mistakes, but this song is about coming to terms with your flaws.”

“Loud Luxury are some of my favorite dudes I’ve met in this industry,” adds Bryce. “They really care about the music they make, and we share a mantra of keeping life fun and exciting.” Listen to “I’m Not Alright” below.
