PRETTYMUCH is rapidly becoming one of the most prolific boy bands on the scene. The quintet dropped their second EP Phases back in May. The six-track collection contained no shortage of high quality bops including focus track “Gone 2 Long.” And they’re already blessing our ears with more material. Last week they joined the New Music Friday lineup with their Lil Tjay-assisted single “Lying.” On it, they do whatever it takes to avoid telling an ex how much they miss them. However, those feelings come out to play on the confessional chorus.

“But I’m lying, when I talk to you. ‘Cause you’re lying under someone new,” they admit. “And I’m dying. Wanna tell you the truth. I’m not, I’m not, I’m not over you.” Lush with sweet harmonies and a very danceable beat, it sounds like a serious hit. And the group paired the track with an eye-catching video. In it they execute a tightly choreographed routine in front of neon-hued graffiti. The end result is simple but very colorful and aesthetically pleasing. Watch Austin Porter, Brandon Arreaga, Edwin Honoret, Nick Mara, Zion Kuwonu and Lil Tjay in action in the “Lying” video below.
